The Destiny™, a newly engineered, high speed, rugged and versatile inserter is extremely efficient yet low in cost (less than one-half of a competitive product). It maintains steady high production rates over long periods of time resulting in significantly greater throughput speeds. Engineered with possible customer future requirements in mind it can easily be converted to a statement processing machine – or to an in-line addressing inserter working in conjunction with ink jet equipment.

The Destiny™ is flexible – it effectively handles a wide range of envelope sizes from 3 1/4” x 6 1/2” to 7” x 12 1/2” making it one of the most versatile inserters on the market. With its EZ Set-Up functionality, the Destiny™ automates set-up so that a minimum of time is spent in set-up and production time is made as high as possible. With its Bounce-Over functionality – whereby identical inserts are placed in adjacent stations and when a station depletes its inserts it automatically “bounces over” to the adjacent station – the Destiny™ further maximizes machine throughput and productivity. And, importantly, the Destiny™ features an extended frame for easy, cost-effective upgrade to intelligent inserting as and when required.

Other significant improvements include In-Track Mail-Piece Control (at high cycling speeds – inserts and mail packages move along smoothly and are stable to insertion into the outer envelope), a reengineered electronic air valve system and newly engineered vacuum control for consistent feeding of inserts.

And the Destiny™ lends itself to integration with SAMT's market leading, camera-based MailVision® reading system for advanced, high-revenue applications. These include automated matched mail processing, document and mail-kit validation, in-line ink-jet addressing, selective inserting and sequence number checking.
